Germination of cannabis (marijuana, marihuana) seeds.

You can plant your seeds like this:

1) Wet the soil.

2) Make little holes of about 1 cm deep.

3) Put one seed in each hole.

4) Close the hole. 

For seeds to germinate they need a constant high temperature of 20 - 25 degrees Celsius. Normally the seeds germinate within 2 - 5 days. If there is no result within 10 days the seeds can be considered as lost. If this is the case you can contact us. We of course check our stock on a regular base but than we will recheck and if the seeds of the same lot will not geminate with us also we will send you new ones.

Below, you see another method of germination (with tissues). With this method you have to be careful not to damage the freshly germinated seeds.

1) Use normal tissue paper, as is used in the kitchen!

2) Take one piece.

3) Fold it twice.

4) Use a normal plate to put the folded tissue on.

5) Take the tissue of the plate to wet it with normal water out of the tap. Then place it back on the plate.

6) Take your seeds and put them on the wet kitchen tissue.

7) Take another tissue, fold and wet it. Then place it over the seeds.

8) Cover them completely.

9) Cover the tissues and the seeds with a second plate.

10) Normally the seeds germinate within 2 - 5 days.

Put the plates in a warm and dark place with a constant temperature of 20 - 25 degrees Celsius and check the seeds once a day. The temperature may never go below 20 degrees, also not during the night. Very soon, out of every seed, a little white piece will come out; the seeds start to sprout. This white piece is the beginning of a rooting system. Two little leaves are still hiding within the seed. You can now put the seeds with the white pieces downwards into another medium. It is not necessary to cover the seeds completely. When a little tip of the seed is still visible you can more easy follow the further development.
